Doctor Rulo Games was founded on 02 July 2025, a dream transformed into reality after years of dedication and a lifelong love for gaming. The spark ignited early for Adriaan van Kesteren (Founder) who, at the age of 10, found his way into the digital realms of Pokémon, the tactical depth of Metal Gear Solid, the creative freedom of Little Big Planet, and the epic scale of World of Warcraft.
It was World of Warcraft that definitively steered Adriaan's path towards game development at 18. Its complex systems and thriving community inspired him to fully dedicate himself to a career as a developer. After graduating at 24 as an Application Developer, Adriaan spent 12 years gaining invaluable experience in web and Salesforce development. This background in robust software engineering and building complex systems now forms the solid foundation of Doctor Rulo Games, empowering us to build games that reach players worldwide.
In the summer of 2025, the pivotal decision was made: to merge accumulated knowledge and a lifelong passion into an independent game studio.
